Diane is off to her mime class.

Luckily for her Cliff knows the history of mime.

It's an ancient art form and has been around since the times of Caesar Augustine.
(Carla: "Yeah, so are those socks you're wearing. Who cares?")
You know it's the purest form of communication.

The truth:

Actually Cliff is pretty close on this one. Mime is one of the oldest forms of communication, pre-dating speech.

Mime is also one of the oldest forms of theatre and was popular amongst the Romans in the time of Caesar Augustine.

We also checked on the purist form of communication and found that pretty much any form of communication can fit the title, so once again, Cliff is kind of correct.
