When it comes to making things
sparkle – and expensive – designers can’t seem to resist combining diamonds with
lingerie. And while many designers are currently competing for the title of Most
Expensive Bra, or Most Expensive Panties, there is one designer in particular
that has overlooked these simple lingerie pieces and gone on to claim the title
of Most Expensive Bustier.
The bustier was created by Indian designer ORRA,
which is also the biggest diamond jewelry chain in India. Just how many Belgian
diamonds have been stuffed into this masterpiece is unknown. But it is known
that the piece is worth 1 million Euros, which is about $1.3 million USD.
The world’s most expensive bustier was unveiled at
an ORRA fashion show and was modeled by Indian supermodel Anjali Lavanya, who
paired it with a gold traditional Indian skirt.
