the world's first Blu-Ray DVD player from Samsung on June 20, 2006 Sony released
six Blu-Ray movies that same day.
The first six Blu-Ray movies ever released were "50
First Dates," "The Fifth Element," "Hitch," "House of Flying Daggers," "Robocop"
and "Black Hawk Down."
Not long after Charlie's Angels:
Full Throttle became the world's first movie to be authored on the "Blu-Ray" DVD
format using dynamic menus with full resolution graphics and animation in the
1920x1080 form.
