What was the world's largest card game tournament?

Anyone who has ever played the card game UNO loves it! In this game players try to get rid of all their cards before any of their opponents. The cards are not ordinary playing cards however. They are brightly colored in one of four colors and they each have a number on them. Except for the special cards that is, that can either be played as any color or can make an opponent pick up to five cards! The game is a fun time to be had by all and no one knows this more than the crowd that set the record by participating in the largest card game tournament.

The event, which gathered 330 players together to play the game of UNO, was held by Mattel, the manufacturer of the game in West Virginia, United States on November 21, 2006.
