What was the world's largest blood donation?
On October 10, 2004 a blood donation drive was held at
Bapu Ji Village in Sriganganagar, India that saw 17, 921 donors in attendance
making it the largest blood donation ever.
The blood drive ran for 12 hours and collected a
total of 13,938 units of blood, with each unit containing 350 ml. The largest
blood donation drive ever was organized by Dera Sacha Sauda.
