What was the world's largest burrito?

Do you love burritos but hate the mess they sometimes make when you pick them up to eat some of their ooey-gooey-goodness? Then you might be happy to know that there is (or was) a burrito that was stuffed with all the beans, cheese, and other fixins and perfect for serving. And although this burrito needed a whole park lined with tables for it to rest on, once it was announced that this was indeed the world’s largest burrito, it was kindly sliced up into individual portions to be eaten and enjoyed. Yum! So, just how big was the world’s biggest burrito?

Well for starters, it needed 6,497 tortillas just to stuff all the fillings in. Then 2,500 pounds of refried beans were stuffed in, topped with another 2,500 pounds of rice, 564 pounds of shredded cheese, and a whopping 200 gallons of salsa. Altogether, the whole burrito ended up weighing 3.7 tons and measured 4,289 in length. And if you think that’s a lot to take in, imagine how much all those ingredients cost! The total ended up being $15,000 and seeing as how it only took one hour and fifty-seven minutes to construct, we’re sure it was well worth it!
