WORLD'S LARGEST CHEESECAKE
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What was the world's largest cheesecake?
The world’s largest cheesecake pays homage to the day,
centuries ago, when cheesecakes were toppings of honey and cheese nestled atop
flour dough. But in addition to this giant tribute, this cheesecake is also
qualified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s largest
cheesecake.
The massively sized cake was created by Chef Miguel
Angel Quezada, of Mexico, and his team of fifty-five cooks. They created the
masterpiece in January 2009 and it took them a total of 60 hours to complete.
When finished the cake weighed a total of two tons and consisted of 2,000 pounds
of cream cheese, 772 pounds of pastry, 551 pounds of sugar, and 331 pounds of
butter. There were a total of 20,000 servings to the cake.
Unfortunately, the cake was a real, edible cake
made from fresh ingredients. So getting a chance to take a bite out of the
world’s largest cheesecake is no longer an option.
