The world’s largest coffee pot is another roadside attraction that has turned metal and other various materials into a huge coffee pot that looks over the rest of the town. But this sight to see has another story behind it other than the good folks of Iowa just wanting to make headlines. It was erected in honor of Virginia Christine, who plays Mrs. Olsen in the Folger’s coffee commercials. Because of this small rise to fame, the town turned their water town into a massive coffee pot. The largest coffee pot in the world stands 36 feet tall and holds 40,000 gallons of water.
