Who was the world's last person to be publicly  guillotined?



Eugene Weidmann was tried for the murder of a Brooklyn dancer, Jean De Koven who was a tourist in France.

He had taken Jean on a date and then back to his suburban home where he committed the crime.

Eugene was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death and on June 17, 1939 he became the last man to be guillotined in public.

Guess you could say Eugene Weidmann lost his head over Jean De Koven.
