THE WORLD'S LONGEST GOLDFISH
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What was the world's longest Goldfish?
Most of us have at one time or another
had a goldfish to call our own. Many of us even won our first goldfish at a
local carnival where you would throw a ping pong ball and if landed on a
goldfish bowl, you were given that goldfish to take home. The disappointment
always came after you took the fish home and within days, he died.
On the other hand, several people love to have a
goldfish pond in their yard where the goldfish are quite large in comparison to
these tiny fish you find at the carnival.
There is one goldfish that might not even fit in
most goldfish ponds and that is the goldfish owned by Joris Gijsbers of Hapert,
Netherlands. His goldfish is the longest goldfish on record. This giant goldfish
is 18.7 inches long or 47.4 centimeters from snout to tail fin. He received the
record on March 24, 2003.
