Way back in the early days of the UFC
there were no judges and fights were a lot longer.
On on April 7, 1995, during UFC 5: The Return of the
Beast the Superfight Championship had Ken Shamrock pitted against Royce Gracie.
After 30 minutes both men were still fighting so they went another 6 minutes of
overtime, settling nothing.
Since there were no judges, no submissions and no KOs, the fight was declared a
draw, the only thing settled was that this fight was the longest UFC fight ever.
