The all time hit leader in Major
League Baseball is Pete Rose.
Pete Rose began his career with the Cincinnati Reds
in1963, where he stayed till 1978. He then moved on to the Philadelphia
Phillies, playing with them from 1979 to 1983. Next stop was the
Montreal Expos for the most of the1984 season, then back to the Cincinnati Reds
where he finished off his career after the 1986 season.
In all, Pete Rose went up to bat 14053 times, recording
an astounding 4256 hits for a career average of .303.
Second place goes to Ty Cobb with 4191hits and third
goes to Hank Aaron with 3771 hits.
