WORLD'S MOST CALVES
IN A SINGLE BIRTH
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What was the most calves in a single birth ever?
Cows generally don’t have more
than one calf at a time when they birth and even in the case of multiple calves,
the most common cases are twins. A cow having three calves in the same birth is
quite rare and birthing four calves within the same birth is just about unheard
of. It’s not surprising then that the record for the most calves born in a
single birth is five!
All of the five calves that made this event
eligible for the Guinness Book of World Records were all born on March 18, 2005
where they were welcomed at the Santa Clara Ranch, Congregacion, Reynosa in
Tamaulipas, Mexico. They were born to their mother and to their owners, Mr.
Guadalupe Olivares Garza & Sons.
