of which the Golden poison dart frog is the most poisonous.
The Golden poison dart frog can be found throughout
Central and South America where the locals use it's poison for hunting.
When in captivity dart frogs do not develop their
poison, it's thought to be a result of their natural diet, perhaps some even
more poisonous insect yet to be identified.
The poison is produced in glands and is secreted onto
their skin, 2/10 of a microgram is lethal for humans if it gets into the
bloodstream, so please, don't go licking frogs trying to find your prince.
