WORLD'S MOST
BOOKS TYPED BACKWARDS
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
Who typed the most books backwards in the world?
It was Michele Santelia in
Campobasso, Italy who set the record for being the man to type the most books
backwards. Michele used a computer accompanied by four blank keyboards to
accomplish this task, all without looking at the screen.
In total, he typed 64 books
backwards, which amounted to 3,361,851 words and all of 19,549,382 characters.
What is even more amazing is that
Michele typed them all, backwards, in all of their original languages.
The books he typed included The
Odyssey, Macbeth, The Vulgate Bible, and, naturally, The Guinness Book of World
Records. But wait, that’s not all. Michele then constructed a tower of all 64
books, a tower that ran a height of 12 feet and four inches tall. Michele
completed his record breaking type-fest concluding with The Dead Sea Scrolls,
all of which were finished in Ancient Hebrew on July 26, 2007.
So it seems the only unanswered question is "Why?"
