WORLD'S SECOND DR. SUESS BOOK
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
What was the second Dr. Seuss' second book?
It’s hard to believe that the Dr.
Seuss books that children love so much today have been around for almost a
century!
The first Dr. Seuss book was
released in 1937 and the second, The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins, was
published just a year later in 1938.
The book is about a character by
the name of Bartholomew Cubbins who wants to take off his hat to salute the King
but a new hat appears every time one is taken off his head. Although most of Dr.
Seuss’ other books are writing in rhymes, his second book was done in prose. Dr.
Seuss’ actual name is Theodor Seuss Geisel and although he had many books
published under many different names, this is the second book to be written
under the name Dr. Seuss. Dr. Seuss was also the first name that Geisel wrote
under, making this the second book Geisel ever published as well as the second
in the series of Dr. Seuss books.
