Where were the second modern Olympics held?

We all know that the first modern Olympics were held in 1896 in Athens, Greece, the second Olympics were held not too far away.

The second Olympics, officially known as the Games of the II Olympiad, were held in Paris, France from May 14 to October 28, 1900.

In all, 997 athletes participated in 95 events covering 19 different sports.

The United States finished second in the medal count with 19 gold and 14 silver, bested only by France with 26 gold and 41 silver.
