Elizabeth Taylor is a two-time
Academy Award winner who is known not only for her talent onscreen and her
incredible beauty, but also by the number of husbands that she has had.
She has had nine in fact, and of those eight ended in
divorce with her third marriage making her a widow.
Her second marriage was to Michael
Wilding and they were married from February 21, 1952 – January 26, 1957.
Elizabeth Taylor was also the second wife of Wilding’s as he had before been
married to Kay Young. Wilding was also an actor in Hollywood and he and Taylor
had two sons together: Michael Howard Wilding, who was born in 1953; and
Christopher Edward Wilding, who was born in 1955. While Taylor would go on to
take at least seven more husbands, Michael Wilding would only have two more
wives after Elizabeth.
