WORLD'S SECOND ALCATRAZ INMATE
THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST
STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
Who was the world's second Alcatraz inmate?
When Alcatraz opened as a federal
penitentiary in 1932, there were some inmates that remained there after they had
been caught as Confederate soldiers. These soldiers were no longer being held as
criminals of war but were instead serving time for offenses that they had
committed.
Charles Copp was one such
prisoner, and he was the second prisoner to ever be registered at Alcatraz. He
was sentenced to Alcatraz for the crimes of robbery and attempted assault.
