that would go down in the history books. It was on this date in Srivilliputtur,
Tamil Nadu, India that M. Manikandan created the world’s smallest handmade chess
set.
This tiny chess board is
twenty-four millimetres in length and twenty-four millimetres in width. The
largest piece is ten millimetres high and the smallest is half that at five
millimetre.
