THE LONGEST LIST OF THE LONGEST STUFF AT THE LONGEST DOMAIN NAME AT LONG LAST
Hilary Clinton Trivia
Hilary Clinton, the
famous former First Lady, is known for many things. It seems that
there may be nothing that the American people, and many people
around the world, don’t know about her. But here are some facts
about Hilary Clinton that you may not have known before.
-
There was just
under half of the Americans when Hilary was born than there are
today. The U.S. Census shows that in 1950, there were
150,700,000 people living in the United States. The Census for
2008 shows 302,900,000.
-
When her husband
Bill Clinton held the office of President, Hilary was once
quoted as saying, “I’m not going to have some reporters pawing
through our papers. We are the President.”
-
Hilary has also
been quoted as saying, “In the Bible they asked Jesus how many
times you should forgive and he said seventy times seven. Well,
I want you all to know that I’m keeping a chart.”
-
Hilary is the
older sister of two brothers, Hugh Edwin Rodham and Tony Rodham.
Tony Rodham was once accused not repaying a loan of $109,000 to
a carnival company. He also received consulting fees from the
same company in the amount of $250,000. That same company was
charged with defrauding banks but was pardoned by Bill Clinton
at the very end of his presidency.
-
The first time
Hilary Clinton saw her future husband, Bill in the Yale Law
School Library she said, “Well, if you’re going to keep staring
at me, I might as well introduce myself.”
-
Hilary was
president of the Young Republicans in college.
-
In Latin, the name
Hilary means “cheerful” or “happy.”
-
Hilary’s daughter
Chelsea was named after a Joni Mitchell song, “Chelsea Morning.”
